"We are ready to withstand new challenges," the Premier said.

Karim Massimov surveyed new weapons and military equipment models and training and material base of the military unit.
Next day, Education and Science Minister Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov represented a draft law on amendments to the Law of Kazakhstan "On education".
Countries should unite efforts to tackle environmental problems, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov said at his Friday meeting with heads of delegation and international organizations, who have come to participate in the VII Pan-European Ministerial Conference "Environment for Europe".
No country can tackle climate change alone. We need to unite our efforts, Massimov noted.
Kazakhstan President has already proposed "Green Bridge" program. I believe that technologies that were supported by the previous six conferences are very important contribution to the green economy, the Prime Minister stressed.
Addressing the conference the Kazakh PM said, Kazakhstan is committed to the to green economy steady development course. The same time no country could settle climate change problems alone, it requires joint efforts of international partners and organizations.
Jan Kubis, Under - Secretary-General, United Nations (UN), Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, environment ministers of the US, Switzerland, Czechia, Finland, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia and reps of international organizations, attended the meeting.
Those gathered debated "The green bride" partnership programme initiated by the Kazakh president. Its key goal is to assist the countries of Europe, Asia and pacific Region to promote green growth policies in favour of sustainable economic growth, development of environmental cooperation between the state, public, international organizations and business structures.
