AKTOBE. KAZINFORM "Peace, consent and prosperity in the country are the main values that should be preserved in the modern society," chairman of the Aktobe affiliate of the Association of Azerbaijanis Shakhbaz Djamalov said.

"The main purpose of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan is to create friendly atmosphere between the representatives of various nationalities. If the country like a family enjoys friendship it will also enjoy prosperity, accord and understanding," he added. The Aktobe affiliate founded more than 14 years ago consists of 60 members. They take an active part in all cultural events held in the city, attend Sunday Scholl to learn the native and state languages. "We teach children to respect other people's traditions. The friendship house is a home to 19 ethnic and cultural associations. Kazakhstan has created a good atmosphere between the representatives of different nationalities. We can see that civil wars around the world tear the countries and the nations apart, therefore we should value our wellbeing," he added.
