ASTANA. October 14. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ We hope that the problem of fighting with terrorism will be one of the prior issues of the OSCE Summit's agenda. Anne Witkowsky, Deputy Coordinator for Homeland Security and Multilateral Affairs, Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism, said it at a briefing after the conference on successful strategies, effective policy and advanced experience in Astana today.
"The Unites States of America admit the great role and leadership of Kazakhstan. We welcome today's opportunity for promotion of cooperation in this field here in Astana. We are very glad that Kazakhstan will host the OSCE Summit in December and hope that the problem of countering terrorism will top the agenda of the event", A. Witkowski noted.
As Mrs. Witkowski highlighted, to date terrorism remains the major challenge and threat. "None of the countries of the planet can solve this problem alone", she stressed.
