KIEV-ASTANA. September 14. KAZINFORM Within the framework of the official visit of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Ukraine Kiev hosted Kazakh-Ukrainian business forum on Tuesday, September 14; Kazinform refers to Ukrinform.

As Kazakh Minister of Industry and New Technologies Berik Kamaliyev noted, as of January 1, 2010, 246 joint Kazakh-Ukrainian enterprises have been registered in Ukraine.

"Cooperation between our countries will develop within the framework of the state program of forced industrial innovative development of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014, prospects of bilateral relations as well as the Customs Union establishment. We hope that our favorable conditions for Ukrainian investors will lead to establishment of joint enterprises in Kazakhstan", he said.

"Today we can propose 88 investment projects totaling USD 24 billion to the Ukrainian side", the Minister emphasized. He told that during the period from 1993 till 2010 Ukraine's investment to Kazakhstan's economy made USD 17.6 million. Investments from Kazakhstan to the economy of Ukraine amounted to USD 321.5 million during 2004-2010.
