Welcoming the participants of the forum, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said that the two countries could make a significant breakthrough in the development of the hydrocarbon sector. According to Head of State, Kazakhstan and Russia should expand cooperation in deep-sea and shale oil. "With this in mind, we can make a significant breakthrough in the hydrocarbon sector.
