Water dumping works underway in Akmola region

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Flood situation in the villages of Koyandy, Talapker, Kazhymukan of Tselinograd district is stable, according to the Department of Internal Politics of Akmola region.
927.7 thousand cubic meters of melt water has been pumped. The works involved 42 rescues of the Emergency Department of Akmola region and 9 units of engineering equipment. 800 cubic meters of meltwater was drained and 100 tons of inert material was brought to the emergency area. In order to prevent flooding of residential houses flood water dumping was done through culverts, canals and ditches.
