Water accidents continue as summer wraps up in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. August 20. KAZINFORM A 14-year-old teenage girl drowned while swimming in the Kapshagai reservoir in the Almaty region on Monday (August 19), the Kazakh Ministry for Emergency Situations reported. The body was removed from the water by locals.
A 2-year-old baby drowned while bathing in the Syrdaria River in southern Kazakhstan. His body was found only one hour later and pulled out of the water by local rescuers.
Water accidents also happened in Zevakino village in eastern Kazakhstan and in the city of Aktau as two men drowned there.
