War-year songs in modern interpretation to sound for Astana residents on Victory Day

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - May 9 is a holiday for all generations, reminding us the price paid for that victory. The young generation should remember and honor that hard and cruel time of the war overcome by our heroes - participants of the Great Patriotic war.

These days, people are honoring veterans in the capital and celebrating the great victory. This evening there is also a concert devoted to Victory Day taking place at the City square, where war-year songs will be performed by youth vocal and instrumental ensembles. The arrangement will include performances of young and popular artists, musical bands from the capital as well as from other cities of Kazakhstan. Spectators will see Asem and "Tengri" band, "ANISSA" band, Artem Romanov and others. This evening each of the concert participants in addition to their songs will perform war-year songs in modern interpretation and version.

Note that the concert is aimed to contribute to development of patriotism and respect to the history and to veterans of the Great Patriotic war among the growing generation, astana.kz reports.

Let us recall that the festive concert is taking place today at 19.00 at the City square in front of the akimat.
