Wages of teachers and doctors in Kazakhstan to be raised significantly in 2010-2012
In accordance with the country's main fiscal document, the living wage in 2011 will make KZT 14, 952; in 2011 - KZT 16, 223 and KZT 17, 521 in 2012. In 2009 this figure comprises KZT 13, 717.
The minimum pension payments will rose from KZT 9, 875 in 2009 up to: KZT 12, 344 - in 2010; KZT 16, 047 - in 2011 and KZT 17, 652 - in 2012.
The draft national budget provides for increase in public welfare payments within #1 and #2 lists, and scholarships in higher educational institutions and colleges. Wages of doctors and teachers will be raised significantly in the upcoming three years. The average wage of the teachers will hit KZT 71, 712 in 2012 (compared to KZT 44, 130 in 2009). The average size of the doctors' wage will reach KZT 107, 874 in 2012 (compared to KZT 66, 384).
