W Poland, Kazakhstan debated investment prospects

ASTANA. October 4. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Embassy in Poland jointly with the investors and exporters' service centre of the Wielkopolski province initiated economic seminars in Wroclaw and Ostruw Wielkopolski in the Western Poland themed "Kazakhstan and Poland: opportunities for investments and successful business."

Authorities of Wroclaw and Ostruw Wielkopolski, higher educational establishments, honorary consuls of some EU countries, deputies of the Seim and regional parliaments, Kazakhstanis students, regional media and 200 reps of business community of the Western Poland took part in the events.

The seminars focused on the development of Kazakhstan, sociopolitical reforms, Astana bid to host EXPO 2017 and other international initiatives, modern economic development, the Customs Union, investment climate, State Forced Industrial and Innovation Development Programme for 2010-2011, Kazakh-Polish economic cooperation and prospects for its further expansion.

Besides, there were presented a photo exhibition, national souvenirs exposure, books about Kazakhstan in Polish and national food function.
