W Kazakhstan competes melt water drainage from residential areas

UST-KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM - Over the weekend the emergency services of the region worked around the clock: pumped water in the flooded areas of the residential sector, conducted dumping inert materials, strengthened and repaired the existing dams. Ust -Kamenogorsk, Semey, Glubokovsky, Kurshim and Ulan districts of the region have completed flood prevention activities.
Emergency department said that the flood situation in the region is stable and under control. Population of the region is highly recommended to clean bridges and culverts and observe the water level in rivers.
