Voter turnout made 95.22% - K. Turgankulov

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The voter turnout of the presidential elections in Kazakhstan made 95.22%, head of the Central Election Commission Kuandyk Turhankulov told at the briefing in Astana today.

K. Turgankulov noted that it was for the first time when such high figures of the turnout were registered in the country.

"The voter turnout made 95.22%," he specified.

According to him, the turnout figure has grown a little thanks to the information received from the foreign electoral districts.

K. Turgankulov also noted that in accordance with the election legislation, the Central Election Commission has to announce the final results not longer than seven days after the election, in other words by May 3, 2015.
