Voter turnout in Kazakhstan's snap presidential elections makes 84% - CEC

ASTANA. April 3. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Voter turnout in Kazakhstan's snap presidential elections made 84 percent as of 18:00 local time. Member of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan Usenov Zhetenov said it at the briefing in Astana.
'7 million, 709 thousand and 159 citizens of Kazakhstan have already voted as of 18:00 April 3. This is 84 percent voters', he said.
According to him, voter turnout in Akmola region is 89,7%, Aktobe region - 84,8 %, Almaty region - 94,7%, Atyrau region - 87,7%, East Kazakhstan region - 85,3%, Zhambyl region - 92,6%, West Kazakhstan region - 92%, Karaganda region - 87,2%, Kostanay region - 90%, Kyzylorda region - 93,4%, Mangystau region - 88,1%, Pavlodar region - 81,1%, North Kazakhstan region - 91%, South Kazakhstan region - 90,2%, Astana - 54,9%, Almaty - 55,4%.
