BISHKEK. May 15. KAZINFORM Volunteers will resume round-the-clock patrolling of Bishkek streets on May 17, Patriot volunteer unit leader Daniyar Terbishaliyev said on Friday; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.

The volunteers joined police and army patrols two days ago, but only for night patrolling, he noted.
Patriot has 5,000 members divided into five mobile groups, which can quickly reach any possible spots of confrontation. Patriot is a public organization bound to ensure security of citizens; it is not backed up with any political force, Terbishaliyev said.
Volunteers stopped the looting in Bishkek and suburbs after the tragic events of April 6-8, which led to the change of the national administration. The volunteers will be using their own vehicles to patrol the city streets, Terbishaliyev said; Kazinform cites Itar-Tass.
