Volume of investments attracted to economy of North Kazakhstan region made KZT 115 bln in 2014

The head of the region also noted that North Kazakhstan region had registered growth of all microeconomic indicators in 2014.
"The GRP grew by almost 3%. The volume of production of industrial products increased by 3.5%. The agricultural sector also registered growth in 2013. The farmers of the region produced products amounting to 283 bln tenge. The work on attraction of investments in the economy of the region was also actively held. Its volume increased by 8.7% and made 115 bln tenge," E. Sultanov said.
The international investment forum "Kyzylzhar Invest 2014" also made a great contribution. The event was held in November 2014. It brought together more than 800 participants including 300 participants from foreign countries. Investors from Australia, Finland, China, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and other countries expressed their interest in North Kazakhstan region. Over 50 agreements and memorandums totaling over 70 bln tenge were signed as a result.
