Vladimir Putin pays working visit to Kazakhstan

ASTANA. May 21. KAZINFORM /Kalamkas Abuova/ Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has arrived in Kazakhstan with a working visit; Kazinform reports.
Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nurtai Abykayev, Minister of Tourism and Sport Temirkhan Dosmukhanbetov, Kazakh Ambassador to Russia Adilbek Dzhaksybekov, Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov welcomed Vladimir Putin in the Astana airport.
Today Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will hold a meeting with Vladimir Putin, and then Kazakh Prime Minister will meet with the Russian counterpart.
During the visit the Russian Prime Minister plans to discuss the course of implementation of some items of the joint Actions Plan of Kazakhstan and Russia for 2009-2010, the issues in the sphere of fuel and energy sector, including atomic energy industry, improvement of the contract-legal base on Baikonur complex, use and protection of transboundary water bodies, and a number of problem issues of bilateral cooperation.
On May 22 V.Putin will take part in a session of the CIS Council of Heads of Governments.
