Vino suggests green Paris-Astana bike ride to support EXPO 2017

ASTANA. October 27. KAZINFORM Olympic champion Alexander Vinokurov suggested initiating a ride on solar bicycles en route Paris-Astana to support Kazakhstan's bid to host EXPO 2017 in Astana.
He put forward this proposal at the official reception on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan held in Paris.
The bike ride may be taken in 2013, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
The official reception brought together politicians, reps of French ministries and departments, major renewable energy companies, European and local media.
