Vietnam's A/H1N1 flu cases rise to 763

HANOI. July 30. KAZINFORM Vietnam's Ministry of Health confirmed 60 more cases of A/H1N1 influenza, raising the total number of flu patients in the country to 763, the local newspaper the Young People reported Thursday; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.

The A/H1N1 virus has been spreading fast in Vietnam nationwide, especially in public buildings including offices, schools, said LyNgoc Kinh, head of the health care management department under the Ministry of Health.

So far, 60 schools in the south of Vietnam have been temporarily closed after many students were found positive to the A/H1N1 virus, said Kinh; Kazinform has learnt from Xinhua.
