Vice PM says 39 school constructions are 'troubled'

"We planned to construct 223 schools including 106 those under the 100 Schools, 100 Hospitals Program for 2007-2009. 112 schools including 46 ones under the program had been completed during 2007-2008. At present, 111 facilities are being constructed from, 60 of them are projects under the 100 Schools, 100 Hospitals program. Construction of 63 schools including 44 ones within the program are expected to be accomplished this year", - Y. Orynbayev said.

He noted that there are still problems connected with the construction appreciation. "As a whole 39 schools countrywide including 16 ones under the 100 Schools, 100 Hospitals still have unresolved problems", - he emphasized.

According to him, the bigger share of troubled construction projects falls on South-Kazakhstan.
