Vice Minister of Education of Kazakhstan dismissed

ASTANA. May 20. KAZINFORM According to the press service of the education department, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Sayat Shayakhmetov placed under house arrest, was dismissed from the post on May 8, this year by the Kazakh Government.
On May 14, detained Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Shayakhmetov and general director of "Management of Construction Projects Education and Science of Kazakhstan" A. Pak were detained on suspicion of misappropriation of budget funds in the amount of nearly KZT 1.5 billion within the construction of educational facilities for 700 pupils in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
