Veterans to get 500,000 tenge on the Victory Day

UST-KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM - On the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War veterans will be paid 500 thousand tenge, this has been announced by Governor of East Kazakhstan region Daniyal Akhmetov during a meeting which considered the preparations for the event.
To date 594 veterans live in East Kazakhstan region. In May more than 600 events to mark the Great Victory are scheduled to be held in the region. Moreover 102 monuments have been repaired in the area. For this purpose the city budget allocated 38 million tenge. 17 veterans will take part in the festivities in Astana city (May 6-10).
