V. Shkolnik put forward candidature of Toshiba Company to build nuclear power station in Kazakhstan

According to him, the meetings with all world producers of nuclear power stations like Canada, USA, China, France, Japan, South Korea were held at the level of the government to select the best candidature.

"We have considered a lot of projects and now we have to report about their characteristics at the government. One of the most promising projects is the one offered by Toshiba Westinghouse Company. "Kazatomprom" JSC is a shareholder of Toshiba Westinghouse Company. Thus, we a 10% share package there. We will also consider this project as a promising one for building the nuclear power station in Kazakhstan," the minister said.
