Uzbekistan's accession to CIS free trade zone treaty welcomed
The participants of the meeting supported Uzbekistan's intention to join the free trade zone treaty, Sergei Lebedev said. In his words, the work on the country's accession will be completed by the end of 2012, Kazinform refers to BelTA.
The free trade zone treaty was signed by eight countries in 2011. Uzbekistan will be the ninth state to sign the document. "The CIS heads of government welcomed Moldova's ratification of the document two days ago. This country became the fifth to ratify the agreement," Sergei Lebedev said.
He said that the document had been ratified by Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Armenia. "Hope was expressed at the meeting that the rest member states that signed the agreement would ratify it and conduct all necessary intrastate procedures in the near future," Sergei Lebedev noted.
