The high-ranking guest delivered warm greetings and best wishes from the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, to the President of Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed prospects for strengthening broad cooperation between the two countries in line with the agreements reached at the highest level in October 2025.

Satisfaction was expressed regarding the ongoing contacts at the government, parliamentary, and business levels, as well as the expansion of humanitarian exchange.

Priority attention was given to increasing trade turnover and to developing a comprehensive cooperation program in key sectors such as mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, the chemical industry, information technology, agriculture, and tourism, to name but a few.

To advance the economic cooperation agenda, an agreement was reached to hold the inaugural meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Belgrade this year.

Issues related to cooperation in organized labor migration, culture, and education were also examined.

It is worth noting that the parties also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues and discussed the schedule for upcoming high-level meetings.

Earlier, Uzbekistan discussed cooperation with China on the launch of its first national scientific satellite.
