Uzbekistan and China to boost business ties

Acting Hokim of Samarkand region Adiz Boboyev met with representatives of enterprises with Chinese capital and entrepreneurs of the region, UzA reports.

Mr. Boboyev noted that interaction and interregional cooperation between Uzbekistan and China have been consistently developing in recent years. The head of the region announced the readiness of the Hokimiyat and heads of all departments and agencies to assist investors and entrepreneurs wishing to open their own businesses in Samarkand.

Emphasizing the importance of such meetings for business development, Chinese entrepreneurs expressed a desire to implement several projects in Samarkand and discussed issues requiring joint solutions.

The Hokim of the region, together with responsible persons, discussed the solution to the problems voiced by entrepreneurs and took measures to provide them with practical assistance. Several issues were positively resolved on the spot.

As earlier reported, Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan trade turnover surpassed $3.8bn.
