Use of modern methodology and instruments of project management can save about 15-20% of funds spent for projects implementation - Issekeshev

ASTANA. December 9. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ According to data of international experts, use of modern methodology and instruments of project management can save about 20-30 percent of time and about 15-20 percent of funds spent for projects and programs implementation.

Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New technologies Asset Issekeshev has announced it at the enlarged session of the Coordination Council on forced industrial development in Astana.

As A.Issekeshev emphasized, statistics of the project management shows that only 15-25 percent of projects reach success in the world.

"Hence today within the framework of the Government's instructions we decided to discuss the issues of creation of the national system of project management with participation of experts. It is called to ensure effective management and implementation of state and sectoral programs in accordance with strategic goals", Minister Issekeshev noted.

According to A.Issekeshev, our country needs people who have practical skills of project management for this purpose implementation.
