USD 1.5 billion needed for EXPO -2017, but costs to be repaid - Zhoshybayev

ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM For EXPO - 2017 Kazakhstan will need about USD 1.5 billion, MFA's Executive Secretary Rapil Zhoshybayev said in his interview in Astana.
"However, funds will be released not only from the budget. There are special schemes of investment projects within the International Bureau of Exhibitions," R. Zhoshybayev explained.
According to him, this will be a big image project for Kazakhstan, for the development of multilateral relations and a great step for the development of science and new technologies.
