US, German, Russian and other reps to take part in IV Eurasian Energy Forum
As was noted, at the upcoming forum there will be discussed the role of strategic alliances and partnership in the energy sphere, issues of ensuring energy security and energy transportation, ecological aspects of resource development. The President of the World Petroleum Council Randall Gossen, the Minister of Energy of Thailand, Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexey Miller, representatives of the World Energy Council, EBRD, World Bank and largest foreign oil and gas companies were invited to the forum.
According to the statement of A.Magauov, US ex-Vice President Richard Cheney and German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder expressed their willingness to take part in the forum. They will make reports and take part in discussions on topical issues of ensuring global energy security in the world financial crisis.
Besides, the Kazakh Energy Week will be held on September 21-26. Within the framework of this project it is planned to organize international conferences and roundtables on energy topics, holding the IV Kazakh oil and gas exhibition and photo exhibition dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Kazakh oil, a media-city opening and etc.
