US embassy organizes education fair in Almaty and Astana foe int'l education week

ASTANA. November 13. KAZINFORM In honor of the 13th annual International Education Week, the U.S. Embassy has organized an education fair which will take place in Almaty on November 15, from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Rakhat Palace Hotel, and in Astana on November 18, from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Radisson Hotel.

Media is invited to attend the opening ceremony of "Education in the USA".

International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State. It celebrates the importance and benefits of international education in the United States and around the world. This year's theme is International Education: Striving for a Healthier Future Worldwide.

Representatives from the U.S. Embassy will be available to discuss scholarships, visa issues, and general questions about studying in the United States. Several alumni associations, Education USA advisers, IREX, American Councils, and representatives from over 30 American universities and private high schools will also participate in the fair.
