University of Roehampton to open its branch in Uzbekistan

London hosted a meeting of Uzbekistan diplomats with the University of Roehampton leadership, UzA reports.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in higher education. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UK, Ravshan Usmanov, and the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and External Engagement) at the University of Roehampton, Dr Richard Keogh, attended the negotiations.

Special attention was paid to the possibility of implementing a double degree program and introducing Roehampton educational standards in higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan on the basis of franchising.

Dr Richard Keogh expressed interest in developing cooperation and the university’s readiness for a long-term partnership with Uzbekistan universities.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to accelerate work on the implementation of joint projects.

Earlier, it was reported that the New York Film Academy is set to open its branch in Kazakhstan.
