Unified National Test must be improved - B. Zhumagulov

ASTANA. January 19. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The Unified National Test must be improved. The Head of the Ministry of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov said it at the sitting of the board of the Ministry.
"The Unified National Test must be improved. There were proposals on dividing it into two stages but the analysis showed that the Unified National Test was positively accepted by the society in its current format. Therefore we are not going to change its format now", B. Zhumagulov noted.
Besides, he expressed hope for increase of quality and contents of the tests. "We need to improve the tests which should focus on assessment of the school graduates' logical thinking", the Head of the Ministry noted.
