UNICEF Regional Director prized coordinated action of Kazakhstan in protecting children's rights

ASTANA. April 10. KAZINFORM - The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov met with the UNICEF Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS Marie-Pierre Poirier, the Kazakh press office of the Commissioner for Human Rights reports.
The sides noted the effectiveness of cooperation of Kazakhstani Ombudsman with the representational office of the organization in our country, which is carried out on the basis of jointly developed projects.
Marie-Pierre Poirier commended Kazakh state bodies and civil society coordinated action to protect children's rights.
Following the meeting the participants expressed their interest in continuing the fruitful cooperation.
