UNICEF in Kazakhstan receives high recognition of the President

ASTANA. December 19. KAZINFORM In the run-up to the celebration of Kazakhstan's 20th anniversary of Independence the UNICEF Country Office in Kazakhstan received the high recognition from Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
At a special ceremony at the Health Ministry on Thursday, December 15, Health Minister Salidat Kairbekova presented the Gratitude Letter of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to UNICEF Representative in Kazakhstan Jun Kukita.
In the letter the President has underlined UNICEF's role in and contribution to the development of National Programmes to improve child care as well as UNICEF's support in the implementation of social policies for children, the press service of UNICEF Country Office in Kazakhstan reports.
