Unemployment rate in Kazakhstan hit 5.3% in May

ASTANA. June 12. KAZINFORM According to official statistical data, 8.5 million of citizens of Kazakhstan were employed in May 2012. This rate was 3.6 per cent lower in May 2011.
The number of jobless Kazakhstanis in May 2012 amounted to 473 600 people. The unemployment rate hit 5.3 per cent.
It's estimated that hidden unemployment made 0.3 per cent in May 2012.
