Unemployment rate in Kazakhstan decreased compared to last year: President's Address

ZHAMBYL REGION. January 29. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ "The unemployment rate decreased compared to the last year level and is up to 6.3% presently", Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said today at the joint session of the Parliament in his address to the nation.
According to the data of the department of economy and budget planning of Zhambyl region, 13,340 jobs were created in the region in 2009 within the Road Map. 12,680 people were employed.
KZT 345.6 mln was allocated from the republican budget for creation of social jobs within the Road Map and 4,772 social jobs were created. KZT 183 mln was allocated for "Youth Practice" program implementation.
KZT 480 mln is planned to be allocated from the national budget within the program in 2010 for creation of social jobs.
