UNDP, Academy of Public Administration under the Kazakh President signed MoU

ASTANA. August 26. KAZINFORM Today, in the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan a memorandum of understanding between the Academy and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) was signed by UNDP Resident Representative in Kazakhstan Stephen Tull and Rector of the Academy Aryn Orsariyev.
"Over the last ten years, Kazakhstan has made a significant progress in the area of public administration reform. A civil service model was developed and the main procedures for civil service and professional development were implemented and systemized. At the same time, globalization and modernization of public administration in the world require an increase of competitiveness of the civil service and demand an improved knowledge and competence of the Kazakhstani civil servants", - noted Stephen Tull, UNDP Resident Representative in Kazakhstan, the press service of the UNDP in Kazakhstan reports.
