UN studies Kazakhstan's model of interethnic consent
Nataliya Kalashnikova, the Secretary of the scientific and expert council of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan, announced at a press briefing of the Central Communications Service on Friday. "International experts show a special interest in Nursultan Nazarbayev's model. The UN even made Kazakhstan's model of interethnic tolerance the subject of its special session. This, first and foremost, is due to authority of President Nursultan Nazarbayev. His international incentives and ideas related to domestic policy promoting national unity and public consent generate intense public interest," she said. In her words, special programs based on that model will be integrated into the system of education across the country. "In conjunction with local experts and educational institutions, we have developed special programs based on the model of interethnic tolerance to be introduced into the educational process," Ms. Kalashnikova added.
