W YORK. September 21. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "The United Nations Organization should work closer with the regional security structures," Kazakh Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev stated today in New York at the annual debate of the 66th session of the UN General Assembly.
"The global peace will be more stable if the United Nations works closer with the regional security structures. With respect to the Eurasian region, these are Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
