UN Envoy Miroslav Jenca to discuss results of his visit to Zhanaozen with Kazakh officials

ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Head of the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia Mr. Miroslav Jenca will meet with Kazakhstani officials to discuss the results of his visit to Zhanaozen, Kazakh MFA's official spokesperson Altay Abibullayev told a weekly briefing on Monday.
As he noted, Miroslav Jenca is on a working visit to Kazakhstan from 10 to 13 March 2012.
The sides will also discuss the situation in Afghanistan, assistance of the Central Asian countries to the efforts to stabilize the situation in this country, issues of socio-economic development in the region, management of water and energy resources, the fight against terrorism and extremism, as well as cooperation within the framework of a new program of the UN Regional Centre for 2012-2014 years.
