UN Alliance of Civilizations supports Kazakhstan's initiative - III Congress of Religious Leaders

ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ "The world needs global concept of cultural reforms", Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos as said today at the III Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
"The Alliance of Civilizations, organized by the UN under sponsorship of Spain and Turkey, support the Kazakhstan's initiative on integrating efforts of religious leaders in establishment of peace and accord between nations and confessions", M.Moratinos noted.
According to him, the dialogue is a necessary condition, a step to understanding each other in the global world. "Besides, we will be able to address current problems and change the mentality of people through the dialogue", he said.
"Nobody denies that we are suffering from the crisis of the global economy today. We need another global platform fro addressing other crisis of the modern world", the Minister resumed.
