Ulan Bator will take active part in Expo -2017 in Astana

ULAN BATOR. August 29. KAZINFORM - Ulan Bator will take an active part in the World Exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana, said the mayor of the Mongolian capital Mr. Batuul during the meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Kalybek Koblandin.

During the conversation K.Koblandin discussed with the mayor of the capital of Mongolia the organization of the Days of Culture of Astana in Ulan Bator in April 2014, reports Kazinform referring to the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Mongolia.

In addition, the parties held a substantive discussion on allocation of land for construction of the building of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the capital of Mongolia. The Mayor of Ulan Bator promised to assist in all matters relating to this issue, noting that "our countries have a long history of cooperation, and Ulan Bator is developing good relations with Astana".

NOTE: Diplomatic relations were established in January 1992. Diplomatic mission in Ulan Bator was opened in May 1997. By Decree of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in January 2007 the mission was transformed into Embassy ofKazakhstan.
