Ukrainian poultry suppliers refuse to provide products for analysis

ASTANA. August 20. KAZINFORM - The joint efforts of state agencies to implement the protection of the domestic market from low-quality products, this was announced by Gulmira Isayeva, Vice Minister of Agriculture, at the press briefing dedicated to domestic poultry products sale decrease due to unfair competition from foreign producers.
"To date, domestic manufacturers regularly provide their products for analysis to our laboratories. From January 1 to August 19 there were carried out 444 checks of domestic enterprises and their yield for compliance with technical regulations, no violences were identified", said G.Isayeva.
"Our vendors provide the market with quality poultry but they are not able to compete with the dominance of low-quality goods, often at dumping prices, imported mainly from Ukraine, which refuse to supply their outturn for the analysis to regulatory authorities which contradicts Customs Union decisions. Our veterinary services are denied to test products being kept in warehouses of temporary storage at the borders", added the Deputy Minister.
