Ukraine parliament not to debate Ukraine’s membership in CES

KIEV. April 1. KAZINFORM. The Supreme Rada deputies refused on Thursday to put on the agenda a draft resolution on Ukraine's participation in forming a Common Economic Space (CES) together with Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia and in the development of mutually beneficial economic cooperation. This issue was supported by 222 out of 423 deputies, who participated in the voting; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.

Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov arrived in Kiev on Thursday to have meetings with President Viktor Yanukovich and Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov. The meeting will highlight stronger bilateral economic cooperation; Kazinform cites Itar-Tass.
