Ukraine needs ten years to reform itself to join EU-foreign minister

MOSCOW. April 3. KAZINFORM It will take Ukraine a decade to carry out the reforms required for accession to the European Union, Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko said on the TV channel Inter.
"Ten years are a realistic period, it is sufficient to carry out reforms," Grishchenko believes.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian government Nikolai Azarov said that Ukraine would join the European Union before 2022.
Currently, Kiev and the EU are getting ready to conclude an agreement on a free trade zone, which, according to the Ukrainian side, is ready by 90 percent; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
