U.Shukeyev charged to finalize Anti-crisis Plan fro Kyrgyzstan by July 26

Presenting the draft Plan Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Kuandyk Bishimbayev emphasized several tasks to be realized.

"These are provision of macro stability, reduction of budget deficit, creation of favorable conditions for economic development and promotion of consumer demand", he said.

The humanitarian goals of the program include provision of the population with the consumer goods, including foods, essential medicines.

"We laid emphasis on essential activities in the Plan that would allow Kyrgyz economy and people to overcome the crisis starting from today till the first quarter of 2011", the First Vice Premier said.

He also emphasized the importance of finalizing the document. "This anti-crisis plan must be finalized by July 26 as long as an investment conference will be held in Bishkek on July 27. there we will be able to discuss this plan with all interested parties and we hope it will be approved by the Kyrgyz Government by August 10", U.Shukeyev said.
