U.S. Consulate to present American documentary and feature films in Almaty

AlMATY. KAZINFORM The U.S. Consulate will present five American documentary and feature films in Almaty on October 31, November 1 & 6 at "Caesar" movie theater, and in Shymkent on November 3 & 4 at "Kinopark-5" at Mega center, as part of the U.S. Mission to Kazakhstan's American Film Showcase.
Two American film experts will also accompany the movies during their tour: Andrea Meditch, executive producer of Buck which won awards at Sundance Film Festival and Crossroads Film Festival, and Lisa Olken, director of the Heartland Chapter Emmy Award-winning Urban Rez. The screenings will be FREE and open to the public, the U.S. Consulate Almaty said.
