Two new energy facilities and gas boiler houses to be built in Bishkek
Deputy Minister of Energy Talaibek Baigaziev, at a press conference at Kabar Agency, told what energy projects are planned to be implemented in Bishkek, Kabar reports.

“As you know, the main source of heat supply in the capital is the thermal power plant. We are now entering into contractual relations for the implementation of large projects, such as the reconstruction of the Bishkek Selmash boiler house and the construction of a thermal power plant there with a capacity of 100 megawatts of electricity and 200-300 megawatts of thermal power. Also for the construction on the site of TPP-2 of new capacities of 100 megawatts of electrical power and 100 gigacalories per hour of thermal power,” he said.
Baigaziev noted that where mortgaged apartment buildings are being built, it is planned to build gas boiler houses with a capacity of about 40 gigacalories.
“It is also planned to build local thermal boiler houses in houses where electricity is used entirely for heating,” he added.
