Two killed as private helicopter crashes in Karelia

MOSCOW. March 11. KAZINFORM. Two people were killed as a private helicopter crashed in Russia's northern republic of Karelia, a law enforcement source told RIA Novosti on Thursday; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
"At 8:30 p.m. [on Wednesday], a private Robinson R44 helicopter crashed, falling onto the ice of Lake Onega. The pilot and passenger died," the source said.
An investigation is underway; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
