Two Kazakh couples involved in accident in Turkey, one dead

We are reminding that June 7, at 12:00 p.m. local time in the Turkish city of Bilek during the jeep safari tour there took place an accident. The driver of one of the jeeps in which there were seven other people, lost control in the rocky terrain, resulting in overturning of the car.

According to the Consulate of Kazakhstan in the city of Antalya, out of eight people in the salon, four were citizens of Kazakhstan. These are two couples: Nargis and Bakhtiar Sidikovs, Ihbal and Rakhimzhan Kurbanovs. From the resulting severe head injury Nargis Sidikova died on the spot. According to Nurjan Aytmahanov, her body is in the morgue of the Forensic Medical Institute of Antalya at the moment. Another citizen Ihbal Kurbanov is in the intensive care unit of the State of Antalya hospital in serious condition.

"Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Antalya is taking appropriate measures to assist our citizens and is in constant communication with them. In particular, the relevant documents are issued for the export of the body of Nargis Sydykova. This incident is under investigation, the results of which will be announced later, " said the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry.
