TV and radio to be suspended in Kazakhstan Oct 30
Kazteleradio JSC has announced the temporary suspension of broadcasting for scheduled preventive maintenance of TV channels and radio stations, Kazinform News Agency reports.
“Scheduled preventive maintenance will be carried out, resulting in the closure of services on the technical means of satellite, digital, and analog air networks from 3:00 am to 5:00 pm on October 30. The statement indicated that the retransmission of TV and radio channels throughout the territory of Kazakhstan would be temporarily suspended during the course of the scheduled maintenance work,” the message reads.
It is emphasized that the national operator conducts quarterly scheduled preventive maintenance in order to ensure uninterrupted and quality broadcasting, which involves the closure of services on technical means of satellite, digital and analog air networks.
